Camping Marius was founded more than 50 years ago in 1963 by Marius and Paulette.

We are now the third generation to run the campsite; our grandparents and parents who came before us have passed on their legacy, their values and sense of customer care which we still hold true today. We continue to develop and build on the demands of today's clientele with the utmost professionalism, and your critique and opinions help us to continue to grow after 50 years!

The picture marks the start of the amazing adventure of Camping Marius. The Marius family were enjoying a family meal outdoors in the field of what would be the future campsite discussing the construction of their future family home. A number of campers driving by stopped to ask if they could pitch up in the field for the night.. and here it was that the idea for a camping ground came about!
